How the bracelet is built

Each stone sits in its own slim link, held by four prongs that grip at the widest part of the stone and hold it square and face-up. The links join edge to edge so the stones touch in one continuous line, with no stations, no clusters and no graduated sizing. Every link pivots against the next, which is why a tennis bracelet drapes around the wrist instead of standing off it.

The profile is slim and flat, so it clears a shirt cuff and sits comfortably alongside a watch. A hidden box clasp closes it with a figure-eight safety catch folded over the top, giving a second point of security and keeping the line of stones unbroken all the way round.

About the stones

The stones are cubic zirconia, cut as round brilliants and selected for a colourless white grade rather than the grey cast of cheaper stone. Cubic zirconia scores 8 to 8.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, hard enough to hold a crisp polish through everyday wear.

It disperses light more strongly than diamond does, roughly 0.060 against diamond's 0.044, which is why a well-cut cubic zirconia throws bright flashes of colour that catch the eye from across a room. That fire is what makes an iced piece read from a distance.

Care

The plating gives a bright surface that resists tarnishing and keeps its shine with very little effort.

Store your jewellery dry and away from perfume and household cleaners, and a soft polishing cloth will bring the finish straight back. Slipping pieces off before you swim keeps them looking their best.
