Iced Halo Station Cuban Link Bracelet – 7.5 mm

How the stations are built

The base is a Miami Cuban chain whose every link face is covered in small pavé stones, so there is no bare metal showing along the band. Set into that run at regular intervals are the stations: a larger round brilliant held in a four-prong setting, ringed by a pavé halo of small stones that lifts it proud of the chain. One station falls roughly every second link, so the pattern repeats evenly around the wrist.

That alternation is what gives the piece its depth. A fully pavé bracelet reads as one flat field of light; a plain chain with spaced stones reads as a chain. Putting a raised halo cluster between pavé link segments gives you both at once, with the stations catching light at a different height from the band. The rectangular box clasp carries multiple rows of pavé across its face, so the pattern continues rather than stopping at the closure.

Width, length and how it wears

At 7.5 mm the bracelet is substantial without being heavy going. It clears a shirt cuff, sits alongside a watch without argument, and reads clearly across a table while staying comfortable through a full day. The articulated links let it travel around the wrist as you move rather than sitting in one fixed position.

Measure your wrist and add about half an inch. The 7 inch sits close on most wrists; the 8 inch gives a looser drape or fits a larger wrist, and is the one to take if you wear a watch on the same arm.

Styling and what it pairs with

This is an anchor piece, so it suits company that stays quieter than it does. A plain chain bracelet or a watch on the same arm works well; a second iced piece on the same wrist usually does not. The silver tone reads cool and bright beside steel and white-gold, while the gold tone sits warm against the skin and pairs with yellow-gold rings and watches.

Both colourways suit men and women, and the halo stations give it more evening presence than a plain Cuban of the same width. Taken in both tones it gives you two different registers from one design.

About the stones

The stones are cubic zirconia, cut as round brilliants and selected for a colourless white grade rather than the grey cast of cheaper stone. Cubic zirconia scores 8 to 8.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, hard enough to hold a crisp polish through everyday wear.

It disperses light more strongly than diamond does, roughly 0.060 against diamond's 0.044, which is why a well-cut cubic zirconia throws bright flashes of colour that catch the eye from across a room. That fire is what makes an iced piece read from a distance.

Care

The plating gives a bright surface that resists tarnishing and keeps its shine with very little effort.

Store your jewellery dry and away from perfume and household cleaners, and a soft polishing cloth will bring the finish straight back. Slipping pieces off before you swim keeps them looking their best.
