18K Gold-Plated Stacking Ring – Waterproof Titanium Band

A thin titanium band with a mirror-polish gold finish, made to be stacked or worn alone. Titanium is lighter than steel or silver, which is what makes two or three of these comfortable on one finger rather than top-heavy.

What this is, plainly

This is a gold-plated titanium ring, not solid gold. The gold is a surface layer. Titanium underneath is harder than gold and far lighter, which is the point: a solid gold band this thin would bend.

Choosing a size

If you already know your US ring size, order it. If you are stacking two or more rings on the same finger, consider going up half a size on at least one of them — stacked bands sit higher on the finger and a snug fit that is comfortable alone can be tight in a group of three.

Building a stack

A combination that works well is one 6 mm as an anchor with a pair of 2 mm above it. Equal widths tend to read as one thick band from a distance, so mixing gives more definition.

Common questions

Do I get more than one ring? No. Each order is a single ring in the width and size you select. Add multiple rings to your cart if you want a stack.

Is this real gold? It is real 18K gold applied as plating over a titanium core, not solid gold throughout.

Will it turn my finger green? No. Titanium is inert and the ring is nickel-free, so there is no copper or brass to react with skin.

Can I shower or wash my hands with it on? Yes. It is waterproof and tarnish-resistant and is made for daily wear.

Is titanium good for sensitive skin? Yes. Titanium is one of the most biocompatible metals available and is commonly tolerated by people who react to other jewellery metals.

Caring for it

No routine needed for daily wear. If the shine dulls, buff it with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive polishes and cleaners containing bleach, and take it off before using undiluted chlorine or hot tubs — not because it will fail immediately, but because concentrated chemicals shorten the life of any plated finish.
